"Performing at 2:15 on a Saturday afternoon on a stage facing an empty parking lot is always going to be an interesting experience, and I state that without sarcasm. While I don't think my performance was particularly noteworthy, it did give my gathered housemates an opportunity to hear me through a loud sound system. (Amy said my voice sounded good, but all I heard was its disembodied echo.)
I felt awkward performing my often limp-wristed pop songs on that stage in front of the small collection of 'dudes' that had gathered, but some of the families eating lunch clapped loudly, and the event itself gave me the opportunity to crack plenty of dog jokes. 'It's always nice to look out into the audience and see that all my dogs have shown up to see me,' got a laugh out of Niles, as I'd hoped. I was really glad to be playing in support of DoveLewis." -Jack
