"...rode down to Olympia with Eli and Bob. The show was an opening event for this book-and-record store. There was a pretty good turnout, and I think I sounded pretty good with only one microphone. (Katharine later told me that my voice sounded 'like it was underwater—in a good way.') I used Peter's (from the Mona Reels) guitar because I again couldn't be bothered with mine; for a second night, the message on the unused guitar at my feet said it all." -Jack
