"This show was mostly a bunch of grindcore, punk or joke bands, which wasn't too surprising given the nature of the event. (It was the sequel to a 'Micro-show' that happened a year and a half proir, where a whole bunch of bands play one-minute-long songs.)
I kind of hoped there would be a handful of more melodic bands playing, but for the most part it was the same small group of people getting up in different formations, with different names, to bash out their songs. By the end of the night people were getting a bit too rowdy, smashing stuff and throwing the shared equipment around. It wasn't too cool, but I did appreciate the warm reaction to my song, while simultaneously recognizing that I was perhaps the 'punkest' performer of the night for being the quietest in the pack." -Jack
